These include blended intensive programmes (BIPs), which combine online learning activities with a period of physical mobility of at least five days.
As part of the CONNECT-UNITA project, coordinated by Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA), 7 universities met in Bayonne from June 5 to 9, 2023 (the University of Beira Interieur (UBI) and the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (IPG) in Portugal, the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) and the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) in Spain, the Transilvania University of Brasov (UniTBv) in Romania and the University of Turin in Italy (UNITO)).
Co-design and co-production of learning ressources and activities, integrating Time-Spatial-Linguistic dimensions.

GOAL
The aim of this program was to design and implement Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) through the living experience of one BIP in the framework of the Erasmus+ Connect-UNITA project. This BIP4BIPS aims to enable the development of transnational and transdisciplinary programs of study, as well as innovative learning and teaching methods, including online collaboration, research-based learning, and challenge-based approaches, to address societal challenges.
BIP4BIPS enabled participants to share and exchange ideas on innovative teaching and digital practices. Thanks to this scheme, 3 BIPs projects integrating alliance partners from the first and second phases were conceived. It has also served as the basis for the development of future BIPs to be organized by UniTBv, IPG and UPNA.
